Digbeth Dining Club is Birmingham’s original street food event that is open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Digbeth Dining Club is a multi award winning event that has changed the face of Brum’s alternative food scene since it started in 2012. In a short of space of time, they have established as an great event of food, music and entertainment. As well as partnerships with cultural, art and music groups. It has been the leader of bringing street food to the Midlands since its inception – it is the voice of authentic and alternative food in Birmingham. Street food is a buzz word for quality, and DDC provides that on all platforms. The place and atmosphere just makes you want to go there every weekend to try many different food options and just to have a good time with your friends and family. I have been there few times and I suggest everybody to try it out.
Here is all of the options you can choose of DDC Food & Traders. They usually changes depending on a day, Thursdays are less busier so you have more space to sit down ,play pin pong or table football, but during the weekend it’s usually really busy so they have more different street food options. My favourites are desserts, they have Platinum pancakes, Bournville waffle company, Urban cheesecake and churros.
As well as desserts they do great burgers, wraps, halloumi fries and pizza. DDC has five different parts, one is entrance outside are where they sell some food , then there is two bars that serve beer, ciders and great cocktails – Spotlight and Mama Roux’s, they also have main outside food area where you can find most of the food trucks and 119 warehouse where you can sit down or play some games. So there’s a lot of space. So if you ever decide to visit Birmingham definitely check this place out.
